Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS)

Pre-ETS is a program available to high school students with disabilities during their high school years. Foothills Industries partners with EIPD, an independent agency of the state of North Carolina operated under the Department of Health and Human Services. This program offers job exploration counseling to qualified students through work-based learning experiences. It offers counseling on opportunities for enrollment in comprehensive transition or post-secondary educational programs and workplace readiness training. Throughout the service, students will be given instruction in self-advocacy.
